On 16th February 2024, during the 47th Janani Luwum Day commemoration in Mucwini, Diocese of Kitgum, the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, The Most Rev Dr Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu, inaugurated the St. Janani Luwum Memorial Site Development Committee.
The Committee will fast-track the development of the site to give it an international outlook.
