As part of the Church of Uganda’s efforts to end gender-based violence, we are recording voices of different faith leaders in Kumi Diocese (Kumi and Bukedea Districts).
These recordings will be played on Mama Bukedea FM to help people learn about the effects of gender-based violence.
We are recording similar messages in West Buganda Diocese (Masaka, Sembabule, Lwengo, Mbirizi, Kalungu, Rakai and Lyantonde Districts).
These will run on local radio stations.
This is part of the Interfaith Action for Gender and Economic Justice project being implemented by the Church of Uganda, with support from DanChurchAid.
