We have successfully concluded Day 4 of the fourth Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCON) in Kigali, Rwanda. It has been an inspiring and insightful event, filled with worship, fellowship, and impactful teachings.

The theme for GAFCON 4 is “To whom shall we go.”

Today’s sessions focused on the importance of discipleship and the need for faithful biblical teaching in our churches. We were challenged to prioritize making disciples who make disciples and to ensure that our teachings are rooted in the authority of Scripture.

Over the last Conference days, we have heard moving testimonies from delegates who have faced persecution and hardships for their faith. Their stories reminded us of the importance of standing firm in our commitment to Christ, even in the face of adversity.

As we look forward to the final day of the conference, we are excited to hear from the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, The Most Rev Dr. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu who will be the preacher during tomorrow morning’s service. We anticipate a powerful message that will inspire and challenge us to continue proclaiming Christ faithfully to the nations.

We are grateful for the hospitality and warm welcome of the people of Rwanda, and we thank God for the opportunity to gather together as a global Anglican family to worship, learn, and grow in our faith.
