Mr John Tereraho is the Provincial Head of Laity, Church of Uganda, a position he has held since 2018.
He is a teacher by training and an Education management specialist. He holds a Masters Degree in Education Management of Makerere University and a Post graduate diploma in Child Care and Classroom management of Lund University, Sweden.
He has worked as a teacher, District Inspector of schools, District Education Officer and currently works as the Education Advisor for World Vision Uganda.
John is a witness of God’s faithful love. He was the first to be baptised in the family and was later to take his parents and the entire family to church when he was in high school. He was also the first and only one among his siblings to go to school, and the first graduate in his clan.
He accepted Christ as his personal saviour on July 20th 2000 and prides in witnessing the goodness of the Lord.
He is happily married to Elizabeth with whom they they have 4 children and two grand children. He has passion for children and cherishes fond memories for the time he spent as a classroom teacher.
He is a leadership coach and loves speaking to the youth, many of whom call him Papa John or Uncle John.
His inspirational verse is John 1:12, by which he is convinced that he is a child of God.
