What an inspiring start to Day 5 of GAFCON 4 in Kigali! The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, The Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu took the stage this morning and delivered a captivating and thought-provoking sermon that truly challenged us all.

He emphasized the importance of prayer for our preachers. He reminded us that preaching the Gospel is not an easy task and that our preachers need our support through prayer. He also called on us to avail resources that will support the spread of the Gospel, encouraging us to work together and partner with one another.
The Archbishop went on to emphasize the need for professionals to join God’s ministry. He cited examples from the Bible where Paul called Dr. Luke a physician and many others who served in different capacities to advance the Gospel. His message was a powerful reminder that each and every one of us has a role to play in sharing the Good News.

As we continue with the rest of the day’s activities, let us reflect on the Archbishop’s message and commit ourselves to pray for our preachers and support the spread of the Gospel in every way possible.
He received a standing ovation with praises of “Tukutendereza”
