BUSHENYI: The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, The Most Rev Dr Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu has arrived in West Ankole Diocese for his official four days Pastoral Visit in which he will visit several Diocesan projects.




On arrival at Koga (the Boundary of Ankole Diocese and West Ankole Diocese) he was welcomed by the Rt Rev Johnson and Mama Joy Twinomujuni; Diocesan Head of Laity and Director of Manifesto implementation in the Office of the President, Mr. Willis Bashaasha, Diocesan Head of Clergy, Rev. Canon Godfrey Bejuura, Clergy and jubilant Christians.
Others that welcomed him include the Bushenyi District Woman Member of Parliament, Hon Annette Katusiime Mugisha; Sheema Deputy RDC, Mr Sam Orikunda and Former Ministers; Chris Rwakasisi, Mary Karooro Okurut and Elioda Tumwesigye.
Tomorrow (Saturday), Archbishop Kaziimba will visit West Ankole Jubilee SACCO, Katungu Mothers Union facilities, Bushenyi Medical Center in Kyongyera, Ankole Western University, Kabwohe Archdeaconry and Rwabutura Archdeaconry.






On Sunday, he will visit Bweranyangyi Girls School and lead a Holy Communion Service at St Peter’s Cathedral, Bweranyangyi.
Before ending his official pastoral visit, Archbishop Kaziimba will visit Nyakateete Parish, Kitagata Archdeaconry and Rukondo Parish.
During his stay in the Diocese, the Archbishop will also visit a number of Christians and supporters of the Diocese and perform many other ministerial obligations.
