Yesterday evening, The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, The Most Rev Dr Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu joined His Eminence Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje, the Mufti of Uganda and the Muslim community at Uganda Muslim Supreme Council (UMSC) Headquarters at the National Mosque in Old Kampala to welcome H.E Ebrahim Raisi, President of Iran.
This was under the auspices of the Inter Religious Council of Uganda where he is the Chairman of the Council of Presidents.
Archbishop Kaziimba shared some of the work that Church Of Uganda and IRCU are doing in peace building, gender and social justice, education and peaceful co-existence through inter-religious and inter-sect dialogue and action.
